In Recuro, we will reshape the way waste is handled and be an accelerator for the circular economy.
Our History
The induction-heated pyrolysis concept was launched as an R&D project internally in Effee Induction in 2019. In March 2022, Recuro was established under the name Effee Energy. The name came with mother company Effee Induction, which develops and delivers induction-based heating solutions.
Although brief, our history is eventful. By December 2022, the first series of tests with induction-based pyrolysis were completed, providing valuable proof of concept. In February 2023, we rebranded to Recuro, and by 2025, we will operate our own plants with a technology that is more cost efficient,energy efficient, and with lower emissions than the market provides today.
Recuro means to restore
Our aim is to be an accelerator for the circular economy and restore value to plastic waste. We will develop and scale the economy for plastic recycling and pyrolysis products.
With our technology, we can contribute to solving a vast environmental problem related to management of, and emissions from plastic waste. This is an opportunity we can not let pass.

Our board comprises experienced and dedicated directors with in-depth knowledge of innovation, technology, industry, and waste-management. With their guidance and support, we will develop an environmentally sound and efficient solution, and induce circularity in resource management.

We believe that collaboration is the key to the circular transition and have teamed up with partners that offer leading-edge knowledge and experience.
With a history from Effee-Induction we have inherited competence and experience in induction. Our partners offers equally well-entrenched expertise in pyrolysis.
With our partners, we are now piloting a recycling plant utilizing induction heating. By 2025, we will operate our own full-scale plants, recycling plastic waste, and providing input for the petrochemical industry.
Our products will be refined and utilised for new production cycles and products, replacing virgin resources.
